Meet: Fred Hardy Invitational
Location: University of Richmond | Richmond, Va.
The Lead: Roanoke competed at the Fred Hardy Invite Friday and Saturday at the University of Richmond.
Highlights:
- Quinn Harlan took first in the 100M dash with a time of 12.29.
- Mara Briggs won the high jump with a new school record mark of 1.70m.
- In the triple jump, Bailey Parks took sixth with a mark of 10.79m.
- Jennifer Calascione tossed a 10.97m in the shot put for 7th. Calascione also took fifth in the discus with a mark of 38.23m.
- Jayna Jean-Jules (40.73m) and Elizebeth Knudsen (39.59m) placed sixth and seventh in the hammer throw.
- In the 800m, Alexis Mattson crossed the finish line in 2:23.77 for 10th place followed by a 13th place finish in the 1500m with a time of 5:01.91.
- Jennifer Barthol took 14th in the 5000m with a time of 19:15.39 followed by Carly Schepacarter (21:42.96) in 16th and Haylee McGuire (21:56.66) in 17th.
- Brittany Mallette clocked a 1:12.97 in the 400m hurdles for 14th place.
- Micah Ray clocked a 22.88 in the 200M dash, placing sixth followed by a third-place finish in the 400m with a time of 49.38.
- In the 400m hurdles, Aaron Rogers finished atop the leaderboard for Roanoke with a time of 1:00.42 for 17th.
- Mykal Dawkins finished the 400m in 51.29 for a 13th place finish.
- Ryan Wilson took eighth in the 3000m with a time of 11:05.56.
- Roanoke took places 9-11 in the hammer throw headed by Lucas Jones with a 34.64m, Kyle Bland with a 33.66m and Kaleb Bland with a 31.66m
