SALEM, Va. -- The Roanoke women's track and field season concluded two months ago, but awards are still coming in. Mikayla Hefferon has been named to the VaSID All-State Team after her performance at the 2023 ODAC Championship.
She was selected First Team All-State after a vote by the sports information directors around the Commonwealth.
Hefferson won the 400m with a time of of 57.47 to help the Maroons to a third place finish at the ODAC Outdoor Championship. This helped her be named First Team All-ODAC.
