Volleyball wins Eighth-Straight over Greensboro

Salem, Va. --- Marcy Conner, Kelsey Largen and Maggie Wagner each had 10 kills each in a 3-0 win against Greensboro this afternoon at the Bast Center. Roanoke improved to 21-3 on the season.
The Maroons are now 4-23 against Greensboro and have won the last three meetings. Roanoke has now won their eighth-straight match which is the second-longest of the season.
Conner had five total blocks (two solo) in addition to her 10 kills and moved into fourth all-time in career block solos with 119. Caitlyn Long had 29 assists, eight kills and a service ace to lead Roanoke. She is now 10th all-time in career assists with 516 for her career.
Erin Burnop finished with five kills and four total blocks (one solo) while Emily Martin had 10 digs to lead the Maroons. Wagner had eight digs to go along with her 10 kills.
The women will host Southern Virginia in their final home match of the season as they will honor Conner and Lauren Reznik on Senior Night. The Maroons are 5-8 against the Knights and won, 3-2 in Buena Vista, Va. earlier this season. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
