Volleyball Wins Second-Straight at Ferrum in Straight Sets
FERRUM --- Roanoke Volleyball earned its second-straight road win in non-conference action over Ferrum, 3-0. The Maroons are now 6-20 while the Panthers drop to 0-28 on the season. Set scores were 25-22, 25-13, 25-17.

Kelsey Largen (Roanoke, VA, Cave Spring) led Roanoke with 10 kills and three aces on the night. Sarah Long (Midlothian, VA, Midlothian High School) added eight kills and two block assists while Courtney Cooper (Glenn Dale, MD, Elizabeth Seton ) contributed six kills. Shannon Stone (Williamsburg, VA, Lafayette) and Jordan Haga (Gladys, VA, William Campbell High School) combined for 27 assists.

Kayla Trippeer had 11 kills and four digs for the Panthers. Bridget Atkinson added 12 assists, and Leah Quinones had eight digs.

The women will end the season in Pennsylvania as they compete in the Messiah Invitational, Oct. 28-29.
