SALEM – The Roanoke College volleyball defeated Mary Baldwin College, 3-0 on Wednesday evening in non-conference action. The Maroons now have a record of 14-6, while the Flying Squirrels now sit with a mark of 0-16.

The Maroons have won their last four matches in a row, including their last three non-conference matches. Roanoke has won 27 consecutive matches against Mary Baldwin, as the Maroons hold a 27-0 all-time record against Mary Baldwin.

Samantha Klostermann and Allison White led the Maroons with seven kills each. They were followed by Carrie Heldreth who put away six and Sarah Long who tallied five kills. Alexandra Martin led all players in the contest with 15 assists. Mackenzie Tyree also led all players in the contest with 17 digs. Martin finished the match with five service aces.

The Maroons return to action on Wednesday, October 9^th as they play host to Guilford in Roanoke's final regular season home contest. That match, which will also serve as senior night, is scheduled for a 6:30 PM.
