SALEM – The Roanoke College volleyball team picked up its first Old Dominion Athletic Conference win after defeating Randolph College 3-1 (25-19, 18-25, 25-16, 25-23).  The Maroons now have a record of 12-3, 1-1 in the ODAC, while the WildCats are 10-6, 0-2 in ODAC play.
 
The Maroons have an all-time series record of 34-12 over Randolph College, having won 18 of the last 20 meetings between the two teams.
 
The Maroons were led in kills by Allison White, who put away 14 on the night.  She was followed in the category by Macey Tyree with 10 kills.  Jessica Block led the squad in assists with 23, while Alexandra Martin dished out 18 during the contest.  The Maroons finished the match with eight service aces, with two apiece coming from Block, Martin and Christen Zammit.  White was also the team leader in digs, notching 19.  Tyree and Zammit each totaled 15 digs over the four sets.  Tyree and Martin also had the lone solo blocks on the night.
 
The WildCats finished the match with 49 kills.  Jordan Templin led the team with 15 decisive kills, while Alex Mariona tallied 11.  Kerry McMichael led all players on the night with 42 assists, with no other player on the squad notching more than two.  Templin also led the team in digs with 22, while Lexi Harrington and McMichael finished with 19 and 13, respectively.
 
The Maroons return to action on Saturday, September 20^th as they host Lynchburg College during for a Pack The House event!  Be sure to come out for all the fun and excitement as the match starts at 1:00 PM.
