RC Volleyball Tabbed No. 8 in NCAA Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Roanoke College Volleyball team is No. 8 in the first NCAA Division III South Regional rankings released on Thursday.

The Maroons are currently 19-4 overall and 7-2 in the ODAC. RC reeled off a school-record 16 straight wins to start the season.

Alexandra Martin is second in the ODAC with 4.71 digs per set and is third with 391 total digs.

Sydney Daniel (2.52) and Kylah Blackmore (2.51) are 11th and 12th, respectively in kills per game in the ODAC, while Jessica Block's 8.63 assists per game is second best in the league.

Roanoke is back in action on Tuesday when it goes across town to face Hollins at 6:30 p.m.
