Roanoke Country Club
The Roanoke College golf teams home club is Roanoke Country Club, this is where we host Roanoke College Invitational and where the Maroons practice. The country club offers 27 holes, complete practice area including a main driving range, a second short iron range, a short game practice green and a practice putting green.
Hanging Rock Golf Club
The golf team is also able to practice at Hanging Rock Golf Club. Overlooking the beautiful Roanoke Valley of Virginia, Hanging Rock Golf Club is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. The golf club offers 18 holes, full driving range and large putting green.
Hanging Rock has earned numerous accolades, including:
- Voted "Best Golf Facility in the Roanoke Valley" by readers of The Roanoker Magazine 17 out of the past 21 years including the past five years (2009-2013)
- Named one of the "Top 3 Courses in Virginia" by The Golfer’s Guide readers’ survey.
- Awarded a 3 1/2-star rating by Golf Digest’s "Best Places to Play.”
