The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) announced their 2022 Academic All State teams on Thursday morning. Six Maroons were honored for not only their athletic accomplishments, but for their academic success. Four of the six carry a 4.00 Grade Point Average (GPA), while the others sport a 3.974 and 3.966 gpa.

Roanoke College Director of Athletics Scott Allison has announced that Brandon Ress will be the next head coach of the swim program. Ress will be the program’s second head coach since it returned to the Salem campus five years ago.

The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) announced their 2022 All State Swim teams on Monday afternoon. Roanoke College would have 14 different honorees on the men's and women's All-State squads. Five women and nine men were honored for their accomplishments during the 2021-22 season.

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced the 2021-22 all conference swim teams on Monday afternoon. In total, 16 men's and women's swimmers earned All-ODAC designation after the 2022 ODAC Swim Championships last weekend.

The 2022 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Swim Championships came to a close on Sunday. The four-day event was held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center and it was Washington and Lee on top of both the men's and women's podium at meets end. The Roanoke men would finish runner-up with Lynchburg placing 3rd. On the women's side, the Maroons came home 4th while Randolph-Macon was 2nd and Lynchburg 3rd.

Day three of the 2022 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Swim Championships featured six more events, one relay and five individual, in the pool at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Roanoke would claim three more individual wins with two runner-up and a trio of 3rd place efforts on the day.
