Philani Mlotshwa, So., Mlotshwa led to Roanoke to a 12-0 win over Southern Virginia as the Maroons set a new school record for goals scored in a single game. Mlotshwa scored the first three goals of the contest with the hat trick coming in the first 25 minutes of action. He also recorded an assist in the win. |
Kathryn Van Orden, Forward, Jr. Van Orden scored Roanoke's only goal against No. 12 Christopher Newport with a header to the right side. Van Orden was also the only goal scorer in the 1-1 tie at Virginia Wesleyan just three days later.
