The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced their Academic All District teams for soccer on Thursday afternoon. A pair of Maroons, one women's and one men's, were honored for their performance in the classroom as well as on the field. Seniors Bryn Haden and Zach Behe were named Academic All District and now move to the nationwide voting for the Academic All American teams.

The 2021 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccers Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and the NAIA.

Haden played in and started, as a defender, all 17 games for the Maroons this season. In the classroom, the Katy, Texas, native sports a 4.00 grade point average (g.p.a.) as a double major in Public Health as well as Health and exercise Science.

Behe, an all conference goal keeper, started in all 18 matches and recorded nine shutouts and a.53 goals against average in 2021. Academically, the High Point (N.C.) native holds a 3.96 g.p.a. in Business Administration.

Each athlete now goes on the ballot for Academic All American, with voting wrapping up in late November and the first, second, and third team announcements coming in early December.
