John Farmer enters his seventh year at Roanoke, was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director in 2017 and has served as Director of the Cregger Center since it opened in August of 2016. John was a key player in the construction and staffing of Roanoke's new athletic facility since construction began in the Spring of 2014.
Farmer works along side the Director of Athletics as well as the rest of campus to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and athletic events. John also serves as the director of compliance and manages the athletic department budget.
After graduating from Radford University in 1992, he coached and taught in the Botetourt County school system followed by a career in business management prior to joining the Maroons staff in 2010.
He completed his Masters Degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from Western Kentucky University in 2017.
