Roanoke Men's Lacrosse Season Recap

Salem, Va. -- The Roanoke Men's Lacrosse notched the 499th win in program history when it topped Kenyon in what proved to be the last game of the season for the Maroons.

RC went 3-3, with two of those losses coming to ranked opponents. The Maroons topped Kenyon, Sewanee and ODAC foe Randolph.

Senior Jason Sarro returned from a season-ending Achilles injury in 2019 last season to score 18 goals and notch 17 assists for 35 points this season. He finished with 259 career points which was just 22 points shy of the all-time points record for the storied Maroons program. Sarro capped his career as just one of four Maroons to average four points per game over his four season. His 135 goals are 10th all-time in RC history and his 124 ranks fourth.

Josh Vetter led the Roanoke defense as he had and ODAC best 19 caused turnovers and 26 groundballs which was 14th best in the league.

Freshman Ethan Caldwell finished second on the team with 19 points, scoring 11 goals and adding eight assists.
