How it Happened:

  • After a scoreless 81 minutes of play, Randolph's Jonathon Powell gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead off an unassisted goal.
  • Roanoke responded just two minutes later as Andrew Yow scored off a clearance attempt, putting the ball into the top of the net, tying the game 1-1.
  • In the first overtime, Roanoke fired back-to-back shots in the 95th minute but were unable to find the back of the net.
  • Goalkeeper Nick Tadros kept the Wildcats off the board with a save two minutes into the second overtime, as he totaled five saves on the day.
  • Randolph held an 18-11 advantage in shots and a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
