RC Places Four on Men's Soccer All-ODAC Team

SALEM, Va. – Four Roanoke College Men's Soccer standouts have been named to the 2018 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) All-Conference team.

Atticus Cooke, Philani Mlotshwa and Tim Leuenberger were all named Second-Team All-ODAC, while Liam Camilleri was a third-team choice.

Cooke started all 18 matches for the Maroons. He scored two goals and added two assists for six points on the year. Cooke scored in wins over Oberlin and Southern Virginia and dished out assists versus Bridgewater and Virginia Wesleyan.

Mlotshwa was second on the RC squad with 12 points on the year. He scored four goals and added four assists. Three of his goals came in a hat trick effort against Southern Virginia. His four assists on the year ranked seventh most in the ODAC.

Leuenberger was part of a Maroons defense that allowed just 0.88 goals per game which ranked second lowest in the ODAC.  He also helped the Maroons record 10 shutouts on the season which was second most in the league as well.

Camilleri finished his first season in Salem by leading the Maroons in points and goals. He scored six goals overall including a pair of game-winners versus Eastern Mennonite and Bridgewater. He also dished out one assist on the year to give him a team best 13 points. His six goals ranked 10th most in the ODAC, while his 13 points was 13th most.

Roanoke capped its season with a 10-5-3 overall record and a 5-2-3 league mark.
