The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced their weekly award winners on Monday afternoon. Roanoke College swimmer Xavier Williams was named the ODAC Men's Swimmer of the Week after the opening weekend of competition.

This past Saturday, the annual ODAC Relay meet was held on the campus of Washington and Lee in Lexington. The Roanoke men placed runner-up to the host Generals by the slimmest of margins, 410-409. The Maroons won six of the nine events and Williams swam in five of those Roanoke victories; 3x50 Backstroke, 4x100 Free, 500 Free Relay, 4x50 Medley Relay, and 4x50 Free Relay. Williams split of 46.88 in the 4x100 Free relay was the fastest 100 freestyle leg of the meet. His split a 20.85 on the anchor leg of the winning 4x50 Free Relay was also the fastest 50 free leg of the , eight-team, meet.
