The Short Story: The Roanoke College men's swim team took home the team title at the 2022 WPU Pacer Invite, beating out 2^nd place Southern Virginia by nearly 100 points (572.5-475.5). The Maroons finished ahead of ODAC opponents Lynchburg and Randolph.

TOP FINISHES

• The Roanoke team of Logan Deal, Jason Brooks, Mack Calvert, and Xavier Williams opened up with a second-place finish in the 200 Yard Free Relay in a time of 1:26.70.
• Austin Nielsen and Chris Snow went 2-3 in the 400 Yard IM with times of 4:17.91 and 4:19.15, respectively.
• Josh Rauch and Ethan Brewer went back-to-back at 4-5 in the 200 Yard Free with times of 1:45.37 and 1:45.60.
• In the 100 Yard Breaststroke, Deal finished third in 58.00.
• Williams finished third in the 50 Yard Free in 21.84 while Brooks finished in a tie for fourth in 22.13.
• Kellen Drawbaugh and Jacob Ambrose finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in times of 1:58.52 and 1:58.80.
• In the 400 Yard Medley Relay, Davis Wheeler, Deal, Brooks, and Williams finished fourth in 3:33.04.
• Calvert, Deal, Brooks, and Williams followed that up in the 200 Yard Medley Relay by finishing second in 1:34.71.
• In the 200 Yard IM, Deal came in fifth in 1:58.38.
• Williams came home finishing third in the 100 Yard Free in a time of 47.83.
• In the 100 Yard Fly, Williams finished third in 52.03.
• In the final event, the 500 Yard Free, Rauch touched the wall first in 4:42.00 while Brewer finished third in 4:46.72.
