The Roanoke men's tennis team saw their season come to a sudden end Sunday afternoon, after they lost to No. 5 in the ODAC Emory & Henry. The Wasps (E&H), who are currently 12-8 on their season, matched up against the No. 4 ODAC ranked Maroons in the Quarterfinals, upsetting them in a 6-1 defeat. Roanoke concluded their season with an overall record of 6-6, 6-3 in the ODAC.

In singles, #6 Roanoke's Greg Migliarese (Roanoke, VA, Hidden Valley) who has won his last four straight games took on Brian Butler to claim the Maroon's only match win. Jon Roy (Greensboro, NC, Grimsley) (# 1 singles) ended his season with a 6-4 record, while James Lee (Radnor, PA, Radnor)(#2 singles) ended the year at 7-2. In #3 singles, Alex Lyons (Topsfield, MA, St. Johns Prep)ended his season with a record of 4-4.

In doubles action, Emory & Henry swept Roanoke 3-0 in the Quarterfinals. The #1 doubles pair Roy and Lee gave a solid effort throughout the season, stepping away with a final 8-2 record on the season.
