James Lee and John Roy earn All-ODAC Recognition for Men's Tennis
James Lee (Radnor, PA, Radnor) and Jon Roy (Greensboro, NC, Grimsley) were named to the 2011 Men's Tennis All-ODAC team announced this afternoon. The duo of Lee and Roy earned first-team in #1 doubles while Lee was second-team in #2 singles.
The #1 doubles combo finished the season with an 8-2 mark, including a stellar 6-1 record in conference play. Lee is now 13-6 for his career in doubles while Roy ups his total to 27-11 in three seasons.
Lee, a sophomore, went 7-3 in #2 singles this year, including a 5-2 mark against ODAC competition. He finished the season on a four-match winning-streak and improved his career singles record to 16-12 overall, 11-5 in the ODAC.
The men finished the spring with a 6-6 record, 6-2 in ODAC matches. They were 4-2 on the road this year and won four of their last six games of the regular season. They claimed a #4 seed in the ODAC Tournament, but fell to Emory & Henry in the conference quarterfinals.
