The Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets bested the Roanoke Maroons, 6-3, on Saturday in Ashland, VA. The loss drops Roanoke to 4-10, 3-4 in the ODAC, while Randolph-Macon improves to 5-7, 2-4 in conference play.

The Maroons claimed two of the singles competitions, earning victories at the number two and number five spots. At number two singles, Lewis Young (Salisbury, NC, Salisbury High School) defeated Chandler Weston, 7-6, 6-4, to earn his second win of the season. Ian Webster (Fredricksburg, VA, James Monroe) downed Frank Donelly at number five singles, 6-1, 6-2, to improve to 6-3 on the season, 3-0 playing in the number five spot. Webster and Young combined for the Maroons' only doubles victory, winning 8-6.

Roanoke will face Bridgewater in the 2012 regular season finale on Wednesday on the road. Start time is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
