HILTON HEAD, SC - The Roanoke College men's tennis team opened up spring break competition with an 8-1 loss to Catawba College on Sunday afternoon. The Maroons now have a record of 3-2, while the Indians have a record of 6-4.

Roanoke faced tough competition in doubles as Matt Kessler and James Lee fell in #1 doubles to the team of Alex MacDonald and Jess Goodall by the score of 8-4. Chris Migliarese and Jake Morris also took a loss in #2 doubles to Jack Mordey and Mitchell MacDonald, 8-1. Lewis Young and Ian Webster gave the #3 doubles team of Goodall and Vanhorenbeck a run, but dropped the match 8-6.

The Maroons lone singles win came at the #2 position, as James Lee took on Jess Goodall. Lee earned the victory by the score of 6-2; 6-4.

The Maroons return to action on Monday, March 4^th as they take on Adrian College at 10:00 AM.
