Against Randolph, the Maroons swept in doubles action. James Lee and Matt Kessler won in #1 doubles, defeating Daniil Lyalko and Dan Phung 8-1. Chris Migliarese and Jacob Morris won a close match over Zach Dales and Shaun Chopp, 9-7 in #2 doubles. In the #3 spot, Ian Webster and Lewis Young blanked Hart Gillespie and Samim Yaquby, 8-0.
In singles action, Matt Kessler was successful at #1 defeating Lyalko, 6-2; 6-2. James Lee stays on top of his game in #2 singles, defeating Phung, 6-1; 6-0. Chris Migliarese defeated Dales, 6-1; 6-0, while Webster was victorious over Gillespie, 6-1; 6-1. The Maroons final win over the WildCats came as Jacob Morris won in #6 singles over Yaquby, 6-1; 6-0.
The Maroons had a tougher time against Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday. The Maroons two wins came in singles action as they fell in the three doubles matches. James Lee, who is 12-1 at #2 singles, defeated Drew Tomajczyk, 6-0; 6-1. The Maroons other win came from Jacob Morris at #5 singles, as he won over Tyler Searcy in three sets, 4-6; 6-4; 10-8.
The Maroons return to action on Wednesday, April 10th as they travel to face Emory & Henry. That contest is scheduled for a 3:00 PM start.
