How it Happened

• Jose Alvarado and Bill Goins closed No. 3 for the Maroons to start the day with an 8-6 win over Steven Baker and Bryan Harris.
• Matt Kessler and Jacob Morris then won at No. 1 singles and Joey Ross and Holden Branham won at No. 2.
• Ross beat Baker 6-3, 4-6, 10-2 in No. 1 singles. Kessler topped Jesse Ewing 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2, while Morris beat Matt Hwang 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
• Branham and Alvarado won at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
