Meet: Bast-Cregger Invitational

The Lead:Roanoke set two school records in the first annual Bast-Cregger Invitational Saturday afternoon in the new Kerr-Cregger Field House.

Highlights:

• Melanie Meadows, Byrnn MacDougall, Claire Aurand and Kyle Grohbrugge set a school record in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:51.78.
• Cameron Thompson, Nicolas Stewart, Julian Edwards and Donte Branch also set a new school record in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:32.61.
• Thompson finished first in the 200 meters with a time of 22.57.
• Aurand finished third in the 60 meter finals with a time of 8.11.
• MacDougall earned a second place finish in the 400 meter with a time of 1:01.10.
• Stewart took fourth in the 60 meter finals with a time of 7.11 after a prelim time of 7.13.
• David Flowers finished fourth in the weight throw with a 13.34 meters.
