
The Basics:
Event: Mount Olive First Chance & Multi / Aggie Twilight Classic Meet
Location: University of Mount Olive / North Carolina A&T State University
The Lead: A small squad of Roanoke College Track & Field members traveled to two last chance meets over the weekend.
Mount Olive First Chance & Multi:
Hannah Koepfinger over the weekend finished 8th out of 15 athletes in the Women's Heptathlon. Her point total of 4053 points puts her in the top 35 of all DIII in the event. During the two day event she would post four personal best in the following events: 200m dash, shot put, javelin, and 800m.
Aggie Twilight Classic Meet:
Men's Highlights:
- The Men's 4X100M Relay of Troy Crawley, Xavier O'Brien, Blake Morin, and Sam Crawford posted another school record time of 42.06 seconds. They would finish 9th overall and the top DIII team in the field.
- Crawford would later run in the 400m dash and finish sixth place crossing the line with a of 48.22 seconds.
- O'Brien posted a personal record time in the 400MH going 55.19 which is the top overall time in the ODAC.
Women's Highlights:
- Grace Fowler finished fourth in the Women's Shot Put with a personal best distance of 11.67 meters. She would also post a personal best in the Women's Discus throw going 32.60 meters
