The Basics
Event: South Region Final Qualifier
Location: Winchester, VA | Kaye & JJ Smith Track
The Lead: A trio of Roanoke College track & field athletes took part in the South Region Final Qualifier, hosted by Shenandoah University on Friday and Saturday.
Men's Highlights:
- Brady Fowler placed fourth in the 60m dash with a time of 6.95 seconds. Samuel Crawford produced a time of 7.25 seconds in the qualifying rounds.
- Crawford came in sixth in the 200m in 22.53 seconds.
Women's Highlights:
- Hannah Snodgrass had a runner-up finish in the 60m hurdles in a time of 9.24 seconds.
Up Next: Selections for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships will be announced on Sunday. The Maroons' outdoor season begins at the Washington and Lee Carnival in Lexington, VA on March 17-18.
