Fowler Named ODAC Track Athlete of the Meet

SALEM, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has revealed its 2023 outdoor track & field awards, and Brady Fowler led the Roanoke College recognitions with his selection as the men's Track Athlete of the Meet.

Fowler earned the honor after claiming first place in both the 100m and 200m and competing on the victorious 4x100 relay at the ODAC outdoor championships, which took place at Bridgewater College on April 30-May 1. Those three event wins garnered him a trio of First Team all-conference laurels.

Samuel Crawford secured a First Team All-ODAC designation by placing first in the 400m, and he teamed up with Fowler, Joseph Eldridge and Aidan Spradlin on the winning 4x100 relay team.

Second Team all-conference honors went to Lorenzo Camobreco (400m), Cody Roupe (high jump), and the 4x400 relay team of Camobreco, Crawford, Victor Cardwell and Brandon Heffinger. Cooper Neeble received a Third Team All-ODAC designation in the steeplechase, and Daniel Graham earned the same in the 110m hurdles.

As a team, the Maroons placed fourth overall at the conference outdoor meet. Lynchburg secured the team championship.

Selections for the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships will be announced on Sunday.
