The Short Story: The Roanoke College men's cross country team finished 20th among the 28 teams competing at the 2022 Royals Challenge hosted by Queens University of Charlotte. As a team, the Maroons finished ahead of five NCAA Division I programs, one Div. II, one NAIA, and one NJCAA.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Cooper Neeble was the top finisher for the Maroons and was the 93rd runner to cross the finish line in 26:31.7.
- Chamberlain Zulauf was another top 125 finisher for Roanoke in a time of 27:03.6
- There was a total of 257 runners in the race.
UP NEXT
- Roanoke returns home on Friday, October 14 when it hosts the Roanoke XC Invitational at Greenhill Park in Salem. The men's race gets underway at 5 p.m.
