2000-01: averaged 5.1 points in first season as a Maroon… she finished second on the team in steals (51)… had four steals on three occasions and recorded one in all but four games… scored season-high 11 points vs. Bridgewater… hit 5-of-5 free throws and had 10 points vs. Hollins… finished second in assists (56) and averaged 2.8 rebounds which led the guards… had six rebounds twice.
Personal: transferred from nearby Averett University… a four-sport athlete at Northside (basketball, softball, soccer and volleyball)… won two “Best Defensive Player” awards while at Northside… was a first-team all-district and district all-tournament selection as a senior… played for current Roanoke assistant Jim Robinson.
