The Lead: Roanoke dropped a 84-75 decision to Bridgewater in the final game of the regular season Saturday afternoon in Bridgewater, Va.

How it Happened:

• Cary Beahm led the Maroons with 23 points paired with 11 rebounds. Bridget Holleran and Allison Livengood each added 13 points in the loss. Livengood grabbed 11 rebounds as well as Roanoke held a 41-38 advantage on the glass. 
• Jessica Lam scored a game-high 35 points for Bridgewater while Sydni Carey came off the bench to score 14.
• BC used a 19-2 run in the first half capped by a pair of Lam free-throws to give the Eagles a 23-6 lead with just over a minute left in the first quarter.
• Roanoke worked to close the gap to seven following a free-throw from Holleran making it 61-54 BC at the end of the third quarter.
• In the fourth quarter, RC chipped away as a Beahm jumper made it 74-72 but Bridgewater scored 10 points in the final two minutes, eight coming from the free-throw line, to secure to victory.

Up Next: Roanoke heads into the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament set to begin on Tuesday afternoon with seedings and opponents still to be determined.
