For the second time this season, Whitney Hopson has been named Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Last Wednesday night , Roanoke knocked off previously unbeaten Emory & Henry 83-59. It was the first conference loss for a Wasp team that was receiving votes in last week's NCAA DIII Women's Basketball top 25. The sophomore point guard scored a game high 17 points on 5-11 shooting, including 2-3 from three point range. Hopson added 12 assists with just one turnover while going a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line. Currently, Hopson is ranked fifth in the ODAC in assists per game (3.8) and third in steals per game (2.4). Thanks to the win, RC is currently in a four team tie for second place in the conference standings with just two ODAC loses, one game behind E&H.
