Salem, Va. – Roanoke College's Emma Boris and Morgan Barlow have been named Second-Team All-Chesapeake Region by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
It marks the second consecutive all-region honor for Boris who was named to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference First-Team last week. Boris ranked second in the ODAC in groundballs with 47, including a league high 31 in ODAC play. She also grabbed 40 draw controls which was 10th most in the league, while her 34 caused turnovers was second-best in the ODAC.
Barlow was named the ODAC Rookie of the Year and was named Second-Team All-ODAC. Barlow wrapped up her first season in Salem with 24 goals which ranked 20th in the league. She also dished out two assists for a total of 26 points. Barlow also snared 23 draw controls on the season for the Maroons.
