The Lead: Jenn Schwechheimer dished out 11 assists in Roanoke's 23-1 win over Averett Saturday in Salem. 

How it Happened:

• Seven Maroons scored two or more goals in the win, headed by Katie Clements with four. Lainey Decker and Ellie Armstrong added three goals each.
• Lily Blair opened the scoring with a goal, assisted from Schwechheimer less than 2 minutes into the contest, making it 1-0.
• Roanoke scored four goals over three minutes, all assisted by Schwechheimer, to extend to the lead to 7-0.
• Hannah Taylor scored just 1:30 into the second half to make it 17-0.
• Olivia Camillo scored back-to-back goals at the 12:20 and 9:36 have a 21-0 advantage.
• The Cougars got on the board in the final seconds of the contest off a strike from Elizabeth Peasley.
• The Maroons held a 33-3 advantage in shots on the day and a 15-2 edge in ground balls.
