The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced their 2022 All Region Teams on Thursday morning. After a season that would see Roanoke advance to the second round of the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament, four Maroons were named All Region by the coaches association. Lilly Blair and Addison Schmidt were named to the 1st team while Emerson Foster and Natalie Mason earned 2nd team honors.

Blair is a repeat member of the IWLCA 1st team after earning the same honor last season. The senior finished the season with 71 goals and 19 assists for 90 total points. The midfielder was a first team All ODAC selection as well as being named the ODAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year and the 2022 ODAC Women's LAcrosse Scholar Athlete of the Year.

In her first season in Salem, Schmidt earns All Region honors as a 1st team defender. The 2022 All ODAC 1st team selection led the Maroons with 32 caused turnovers while picking up 32 ground balls. Offensively, Schmidt added a goal and four assists for five total points.

Foster was named All Region 2nd team for the second consecutive season. The senior was named All ODAC 1st team for the third time in her career and wrapped up her final season with 30 goals and five assists for 35 total points. The two-way player finished with 22 ground balls, 48 draw controls, and 12 caused turnovers.

Mason earned All ODAC honors in each of her first two seasons with Roanoke. The defender earn All Region honors for the first time after causing 31 turnovers and collecting 39 ground balls. Mason helped to anchor a defense that posted an 85% clear percentage while causing 203 turnovers and allowing just 7.15 goals per game, 5.14 in ODAC play.

The IWLCA has honored 272 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2022. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2022 All-American teams on May 26.
