Shelley Olds '03 Wins Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta

In the first ever Vuelta Women's race, former Roanoke College women's soccer standout Shelley Olds (ALE) won the Madrid Challenge, beating out Giorgia Bronzini (WIGGLE) in the sprint finish. Olds, a captain for the Maroons during her time at RC, has been a professional racing cyclist since 2007.
