The Lead: Shenandoah won 1-0 in ODAC Women's Soccer play over Roanoke on the strength of a Taylor Potter goal in the 39th minute.

How it Happened:
  • Potter's goal came after she took a pass from Danielle Burris just outside the box and was able to loft a shot just out of the reach of RC keeper Sarah Dvorak to give SU the lone goal of the match.
  • RC applied offensive pressure in the second-half, outshooting Shenandoah 6-3.
  • The Maroons best chance to score came with 13 minutes left to go when Marlana Barnard rifled a free kick that was just barley punched away by SU keeper Erin Septer.
  • Shenandoah held an 11-8 edge in shots and 6-3 in corner kicks.
  • Dvorak made four saves, while Septer made four, including three in the second-half to keep RC off the board..
