The Lead: Roanoke scored three goals in both halves en route to a 6-0 ODAC win at Emory & Henry Wednesday night.
How it Happened:
- Sierra Lynn-Johnson gave Roanoke a 2-0 lead with back-to-back goals with the first coming just 1:30 into the contest. Her second goal came off a cross set up by Abbe Guarino at the 15:40 mark.
- Linnea Kremer added the final goal of the first half from the middle of the field with just under 24 minutes remaining in the half.
- Two minutes into the second half, Roanoke tacked on two more goals less than 18 seconds apart as Guarino fed Lynn-Johnson off a corner kick before Guarino found the back of the net herself.
- Laura Garbarini rounded out the scoring for the Maroons with 25 minutes left in the game off a cross from Taylor Sayegh.
- Roanoke owned 15-5 advantage in shots and a 10-1 lead in corner kicks.
