Forest, Va. – Roanoke College's Maria Vinson has been named the ODAC Swimmer of the Week.

Vinson, a freshman from Richmond, Va., picks up her second straight weekly honor after leading Roanoke to a 139-123 dual meet win over Randolph-Macon. Vinson, who won three individual events and a relay against R-MC, took over the top spot in the ODAC in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:15.21. Her 200-yard individual medley time of 2:14.35 is second in the conference, while her 400-yard individual medley time of 4:44.54 ranks third in the league. Vinson and teammates Grace Fountain, Anna Engel, and Elizabeth Roberts won the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:47.09, good for second-fastest in the ODAC.
