Meet: VMI Winter Relays
Location: Lexington, Va.
The Lead: Roanoke raced at the VMI Winter Relays Feb. 9-10 in Lexington, Va.
Women's Highlights:
- Lindsey Baxter took sixth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.30m.
- Madison Padgett earned sixth in the pentathlon after tallying 2407 points in the 60m hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump and 800m.
- In the 500M, Madeleine Robben crossed the finish line in 1:30.90 for 17th.
- Jennifer Calascione finished in the top-ten of the shot put with a mark of 12.06.
Men's Highlights
- In the 1000m, Kevin Waterman took seventh with a time of 2:39.59.
- Tanner Burton tied for 17th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.74.
- Nicolas Stewart clocked a 7.15 in the 60m finals for 15th place.
- Tyler Barrett crossed the line in the 5000M in just 16:26.67 for 12th place.
- The 4x400m relay team of Xavier O'Brien, Aaron Rogers, Paul Houston and Micah Ray took ninth with a time of 3:29.88.
