The Lead: The Roanoke indoor track & field teams posted several Top 5 finishes at the Virginia Tech Challenge at Rector Fieldhouse in Blacksburg on Friday and Saturday.
Women's Highlights:
- Hannah Snodgrass placed fourth in the 60m hurdles in 9.02 seconds, good enough for second among Division III competitors. Her time is also the second-fastest in the ODAC this season.
- The Maroons claimed three of the top six spots in the 60m: Eleanor Hinckley finished fourth (8.06 seconds), followed by Kenna Fox (8.08) in fifth and Taylor Poole (8.18) in sixth.
- The 4x400 relay team of Lauren Henson, Haylee Gamble, Maryrose Molina-Shuman, and Mikayla Hefferon produced a second-place finish with a time of 4:06.26.
Men's Highlights:
- Dylan Knick was the top Division III finisher and placed fourth overall in the 60m hurdles with a season-best time of 8.96 seconds.
- Samuel Crawford came in sixth overall and second among Division III athletes in the 200 with a time of 22.41 seconds.
Up Next: Roanoke will host the ODAC Indoor Championships at Cregger Fieldhouse on Feb. 25-26.
