The Lead: Southern Virginia topped visiting Roanoke 3-0 in non-conference volleyball action on Tuesday.  

How it Happened:

• Logan Graves led the Maroons with nine kills, Alex Wolfe had eight and Kylah Blackmore had six. Jessica Block had 26 assists to go along with seven digs.  
• Ryan Hedgepeth had 15 digs, while Block and Blackmore each had seven stops.
• Roanoke hit just .085 for the match and had six serving errors. SVU hit .333 for the match and was led by Morgan Starkie with 11 kills.

 Roanoke returns to action on Wednesday against Bridgewater at 6:30 p.m. That match will be played in the Bast Center.
