Bailey Earns Third ODAC Player of the Week Award

Forest, Va. – For the second week in a row and the third time this year, Roanoke College's Linsey Bailey has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.

Bailey, a freshman from Fincastle, Va., helped Roanoke to a 2-1 week with three double-doubles including a pair of 20-20 matches resulting in 58 kills (4.83/set), 59 digs (4.92/set) and 61.0 points responsible (5.1/set). She also hit .307 over the three matches. Bailey opened with 21 kills, 23 digs, and two aces in a five-set loss to Washington and Lee. She went for 12 kills and 10 digs with an ace in a 3-0 triumph over Randolph. She then set new career-highs with 25 kills and 26 digs in a 3-1 victory over Southern Virginia. For the season, improved upon her ODAC leads in kills (269), kills per set (4.20), and points per set (4.6) while taking over the top spot in overall points (291.5).
