The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced their 2021 All Conference Volleyball teams on Sunday afternoon. Roanoke College would place a pair of players on the trio of All-ODAC teams. For the third consecutive year, Linsey Bailey and Kennedy Clemmer were named All-ODAC via a vote from the league's coaches.
Bailey, the 2018 ODAC Rookie of the Year, was a first team selection for each of her first three seasons in Salem and was named to the 2nd team in 2021. The senior outside hitter eclipsed the 1,000 kill mark for her career in the 2020 season and once again led Roanoke in kills this season, 339 (3rd best in the conference). The Fincastle native finished her RC career with 1,368 kills and accounted for over 1,500 points during her time in a Roanoke uniform. Her 3.36 kills per set ranked 5th in the ODAC this season while the versatile attacker was top 15 in the ODAC with 266 digs and 8th in the league with 35 service aces.
Clemmer, a junior defensive specialist, has earned all conference honors in each of her three seasons with the Maroons. Clemmer was a 3rd team selection in 2019 and moved to the 2nd team last season. The 2021 campaign would see the Penhook native earn 3rd team honors. Clemmer finished 2nd in the ODAC with her, team high, 485 digs. Her 4.22 digs per set ranked 2nd while her 41 service aces ranked 3rd in the ODAC. She also added 94 assists, 3rd on the team.
