Lee Sheldon Named Second-Team All-ODAC in Field Hockey
Junior midfielder Lee Sheldon (Darien, CT, Darien) was named Second-Team All-ODAC for field hockey announced on Wednesday afternoon. The three-year starter earned all-conference honors for the second-straight season.
 
Sheldon started in all 15 games played this season. She led the ODAC and ranked among the top-15 nationally with eight on the year. Her three assists and 28 shots led the Maroons in 2010 and scored her only goal of the year in the season-opener against Frostburg St. (9/1).
 
For her career, Sheldon has started in all 48 games while totaling three goals and six assists for 12 points. She has 70 career shots, including 39 shots on goal.
 
The Maroons finished 2-13 overall, 1-6 in the ODAC this fall. They started and finished the season with a win. Roanoke defeated Frostburg St, 4-2 in the season-opener and on senior night they blanked Sweet Briar, 2-0 in the season-finale.
