FOREST - Shelbi Holloman was named ODAC Field Hockey Player of the Week, announced Monday. This is the second time Holloman has won the award, having been tabbed Player of the Week in her freshman year. This is also the second consecutive week a Maroon has won the award, with Katerina DeSimone earned the honors on September 15^th.

Holloman, a sophomore from Suffolk, Va., helped the Maroons to a 3-0 week as she collected eight total points. She opened on Wednesday with the game-winner in a 3-2 triumph at Wilson. She followed that up with a hat-trick in a 5-0 win at Ferrum College. The Maroons also defeated Bethany University (W.Va.) on the weekend. Holloman currently leads the ODAC with six goals scored and 12 total points.

The Maroons return to action on Wednesdaay, September 24^th as they take on Bridgewater College on the road. That contest is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
