Shelbi Holloman Earns NFHCA All-Region Honors; First RC Player to Earn All-Region Honors Since 2003

SALEM, Va. – Roanoke College's Shelbi Holloman has been named Second-Team All-South Region by the by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).

Earlier this month, Holloman earned First-Team All-ODAC accolades for the second straight season and her third all-conference honor of her career. Holloman becomes the first Maroon to be selected by the NFCHA since Rahcel Flint in 2003.

Holloman finished the season tied for second in the league with 15 goals and tied for fourth with seven assists. Holloman's 37 points was third-best in the league while she took an ODAC best 116 shots on the year.

Roanoke recorded 11 wins this season which is the first double-digit win total for RC since 2004. The 11 wins is also tied for fourth most in a single season history.
