Salem, Va. – Roanoke College's Shelbi Holloman has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week.

Holloman, a senior from Suffolk, Va., helped the Maroons get off to a 2-0 start with wins at Ferrum and against Washington College. Holloman tallied twice in a 4-0 triumph over the Panthers, adding an assist on Roanoke's first goal of the season just 41-seconds into the contest at Ferrum. She followed that with another goal and two assists in a 4-2 victory over Washington. Holloman leads the ODAC thru the first weekend of competition with nine points. 

Roanoke returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Wesley at 11:00 a.m.
