Holloman Named to NFHCA DIII All-Star Game

Roanoke College senior Shelbi Holloman has been named to the 2016 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Senior Game which was announced on Wednesday. The contest will be held on Saturday, November 19th at 4 p.m. (Eastern) at William Smith College.

Holloman capped a career on Tuesday that sees her leave Salem as the Roanoke all-time leader in both goals (56) and points (128). Last season Holloman became Roanoke's first All-Region selection since 2003 after finishing the season second in the ODAC with 15 goals and third in points with 37. This season her 22 goals ranks second most in a single season in Roanoke history.

Holloman help RC to 11 wins in each of the last two seasons, marking the first time the Maroons have had 10 or more wins in back-to-back seasons since 2003 and 2004.
