The Lead: No. 24 Roanoke bounced back from a one point half time deficit to knock off Emory & Henry 98-90 to improve to 14-2.
 
How it Happened:
- The Maroons were led by strong foul shooting and went 36-of-49 from the charity stripe and also shot 44.6% from the field, making 29-of-65 shots.
- Joey Miller tied his career high of 24 points with 16 of them coming in the second-half after making 11-of-12 free throws. John Fitchett had 17 points while John Caldwell had 14 points in 14 minutes and Carter Wright finished with 11 for the Maroons.
- Aaron Ferguson led Emory & Henry with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Ryan Gravley scored 14 points and Myles Turner chipped in with 13 points.
- The first-half saw eight ties and neither team able to open up more than a four point lead.
- With Roanoke up 53-52, the Maroons put together a 15-6 run that was capped by a Fitchett three-point play that made it 68-58 with just under 10 minutes to go.
- E&H responded with a 10-1 run cutting the RC lead to 69-68 on a Kevin Anzenberger with 7:42 to play in the game.    
- RC put the game away with a 14-5 run, taking an 83-73 lead on Caldwell free-throw with 3:13 to play.
