Salem, Va. – The Roanoke College Men's Basketball team is ranked No. 8 in the latest NCAA Division III South Regional rankings released on Wednesday.
Wednesday's rankings are the second of three sets which will be seen before the NCAA Tournament selections are made and announced on Monday, Feb. 25. There is also one final set of regional rankings, which is released after the tournament bracket is revealed.
Heading into Wednesday night's game with Ferrum, RC fashions a 16-7 record for the season. Roanoke is one of five ODAC teams that make up the top eight spots in the rankings.
The Maroons are led by Josh Freund who is leading the ODAC in points per game with 19.2 and is second in rebounding with 10.5 boards per game.
